About this Episode

In this episode of The Chris and Andre Show, friend-of-the-show Joe is back to give his review of Spider-Man: No Way Home and his thoughts on Marvel versus DC (and how DC keeps getting their heroes wrong!), but not before Chris and Andre duke it out over politics, technocratic billionaires, and John Elway’s performance as the Denver Broncos’ General Manager.

(00:00:00) Intros - Friend-of-the-show Joe is back this week after taking last week off to celebrate his daughter’s birthday.

(00:05:39) Politics - Andre is still pissed at Democrats for not taking the small wins where they can get them and instead trying to shoehorn everything into one large bill, Chris is mad at Joe Manchin for his constant need for attention, and all three guys agree that black lawmakers should do more than just threaten to cut off K St.

(00:33:29) Life - Andre says it’s time to stop worshiping billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, the guys discuss just what it is that people find entertaining about Joe Rogan, and the unfairness of punishments are on full display in the case of a truck driver sentenced to 110 years for a deadly accident.

(01:01:12) Sports - Andre called it: Teddy Bridgewater nearly got himself killed this past weekend diving head-first. He’s ready for the end of the Bridgewater era and says it’s time for the Broncos to just clean house altogether. Chris says it all comes back to John Elway, which Andre doesn’t want to hear.

(01:06:49) Pop Culture - Joe and Chris both saw Spiderman: No Way Home this past weekend and give their spoiler-free review (since Andre hasn’t gotten to see it yet). The guys also discuss Witcher Season 2, a great YouTube video about the Problem with DC’s Heroes, which leads to a direct comparison of DC and Marvel, and Andre tries to explain to Chris why he disliked Taika Waititi so much.

(02:21:38) Technology - Major shout out to Casey Faris who has helped the show tremendously through his plethora of Davinci Resolve and Fusion tutorial videos. The guys are working to improve the overall production value of the show and have Casey to thank for a lot of the stuff they’ve learned along the way.
