(00:00:59) Business - The Great Resignation has Chris and Andre discussing what is driving this trend and what it could take for employees to go back to work.

They also spend some time looking at the Raleigh-Cary housing market and wondering when the bubble might burst, before talking about the latest report that 90% of the US Stock Market is owned by 10% of the US population.

Andre’s experience in Real Estate lends itself to the conversation about steering buyers toward higher-commission homes and he shares how his wife helped open his eyes to the ridiculousness that is HGTV.

(00:57:55) Politics - Mitt Romney has stepped in it big time while arguing against President Biden’s plan to raise taxes on the rich to pay for his infrastructure and social security net bill, but Chris and Andre wonder how effective that plan will be if the tax loopholes aren’t simultaneously eliminated. This leads to a larger discussion about the Federal Income tax and whether we should do away with it altogether.

(01:11:13) Pop Culture - Chris and Andre ask Hollywood to please stop making Fast and Furious movies after watching F9: The Fast Saga, Chris finally finished Free Guy and also The Protege (both good movies) and he even read a book!

(01:23:24) Social Media - Andre shares his frustration with people blaming algorithms when they don’t even understand them, Facebook wants to build a “metaverse” all while changing its name, and Dave Chappelle is back saying he won’t bow to social pressure after his latest Netflix special.

(01:39:03) Technology - Before they close things out, Chris is in the early stages of building a website for his wife, so Andre shares his thoughts on static vs. dynamic websites and which front-end/back-end setups he prefers.
